Kata Yusup Kalla Ketua Umum Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Jusuf Kalla (JK) mengingatkan Pemerintah bahwa pemberian vaksin COVID-19 tidak sama dengan pembagian bantuan sosial sembako, sehingga mekanisme pemberian vaksin tersebut harus cepat dan tidak memperumit masyarakat.
“Saya selalu bilang vaksin itu beda dengan pembagian sembako. Kalau pembagian sembako, orang mau saja menerima sampai lima kali sehari, untuk itu perlu diverifikasi,” kata Wakil Presiden ke-10 dan ke-12 RI itu, saat meninjau pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19, di Jakarta, Minggu.
Sedangkan bagi yang ingin divaksin COVID-19, ujar JK, masyarakat tidak perlu dipersulit dengan mendaftar secara daring ke Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) dan harus mendapatkan tiket.
“Kalau pembagian sembako memang harus dicek, tetapi kalau vaksin, mana ada orang mau disuntik dua kali dalam satu hari. Ndak ada. Tidak ada orang mau disuntik dua kali sehari, dua kali dalam sebulan pun dipaksa-paksa baru mau,” ujarnya pula. (deni/postb/ant)
